Do you think that fight competitions like the UFC are legit sports or just violent spectacles? - cents sports scam
My two cents?
I think it is a sport, because, like most any other sport that requires skills, atheletic, practiced the technique and knowledge.

I compete at the amateur level and I can tell you is really a sport. The MMA fighters are the hardest workers and most athletes are fit.
The competition is fierce and techniques to learn, are many. It is a sport of skill as much as Brawn.
Is by its nature, violent. But a simple show violent? It may seem that way for the layman, but that is simply not an accurate assessment. It has fewer serious injuries than football or boxing. Like I said, it requires very much skill. It is not just a sport, is the world's fastest-growing sport.
For an interesting article on MMA and the Olympics can be found here: http://www.extremeprosports.com/MMA/pank ...
I suspect that a response is based on the answers. I and many other artists of the martial arts have really thought about it, the UFC a legitimate sport. They train day and night and are really good fighters. You do not need more than just a belt around the waist, always good fight, I have seen professional MMA victory in the fight against a dedicated art teacher. I do not think WWE legitimate at all, but the Olympic rings.
If the man is a sports training and competition.
It is a sport.
Golf is no sport. It is not cheerleading
Both are.
It is a legitimate sport.
And it is certainly indicate a very violently.
Why do you think that reviews should be mutually exclusive?
